Today's Italian resource is a link to "Italy's CBC", RAI. The site's a bit unwieldy to navigate (including lots of pesky pop-ups), but well worth the effort, with streaming radio direct from Italy and an amazing archive of vintage clips. (Look for "Teche" on the right.)
Italians don't quote Websters when defining a term, they quote this Italian resource. Annoyingly, you have to register but at least it's free.
The more you expose yourself to actual spoken Italian, the faster you'll learn. You'll pick up phrases, internalize pronunciation and improve your listening skills. Lucky for us in Toronto, we have lots of opportunities for this exposure through the mass media. Today's
